Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitorial Worker to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of a condominium association. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure a hygienic and welcoming environment for owners & visitors. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help uphold our high standards of sanitation and facility maintenance. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with janitorial experience who take pride in creating clean, safe spaces. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to maintain a pristine environment. Handle chemical agents with strict adherence to safety protocols, ensuring proper storage, usage, and disposal. Conduct heavy lifting tasks using safe lifting practices to move furniture, supplies, or equipment as needed. Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and other floor care techniques to ensure a professional appearance. Follow established safety procedures during all custodial activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks and report any repairs or hazards promptly to management. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and chemical handling safety procedures. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and industrial vacuums effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety compliance. Good communication skills with a customer service-oriented attitude when interacting with staff or visitors. Prior experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
