Night Shift Position Summary Coast Florida Cleaning Maintenance LLC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Night Cleaner (1099 Independent Contractor) to provide professional cleaning and sanitation services within a clinical healthcare setting. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, organized, and professional environment while following Coast Florida Cleaning Maintenance LLC procedures and all applicable clinical facility cleaning, infection-control, safety, security, and confidentiality requirements. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Responsibilities may include: Clean and disinfect patient rooms, exam rooms, offices, waiting areas, hallways, restrooms, break rooms, and other assigned areas. Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, including door handles, light switches, counters, fixtures, and other frequently contacted surfaces. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors according to facility procedures. Empty trash and replace liners in designated receptacles. Clean and sanitize restrooms, sinks, toilets, mirrors, and fixtures. Dust and wipe furniture, counters, desks, and other approved surfaces. Replenish soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, and other facility supplies as assigned. Follow proper procedures for the use, labeling, storage, and handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Follow required infection-control and cross-contamination prevention procedures. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required. Immediately report spills, safety hazards, damaged equipment, or unusual conditions. Follow all facility access, security, and confidentiality requirements. Complete assigned cleaning responsibilities thoroughly. Perform additional cleaning services within the agreed scope of work as needed. Clinical Facility Requirements Because services will be performed in a clinical healthcare environment, contractors must satisfy the facility's applicable health and screening requirements.
Flu Vaccination:
Documentation of a current influenza vaccination is required. If unable to receive the vaccine for medical reasons, appropriate documentation from a healthcare provider must be provided, subject to applicable facility requirements and law.
Background Check:
Must successfully complete the required background screening.
Five-Panel Drug Screen:
Must successfully complete a five-panel drug screening.
TB Screening/Test:
Must provide documentation of a current tuberculosis (TB) screening/test as required by the clinical facility. Required documentation and screenings must have been completed within the previous 12 months, unless the clinical facility requires more frequent testing or updated documentation. 1099 Independent Contractor Status This position is intended to be performed on a 1099 independent contractor basis. The contractor will be responsible for applicable federal, state, and local tax obligations associated with independent contractor income. Coast Florida Cleaning Maintenance LLC will provide applicable tax reporting documentation, including Form 1099-NEC when required by law. Independent contractors are not treated as W-2 employees solely by virtue of this engagement and generally are not eligible for employee benefits provided by Coast Florida Cleaning Maintenance LLC. Qualifications Previous commercial, medical, or healthcare cleaning experience is preferred. Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented. Ability to perform cleaning responsibilities independently. Ability to follow clinical facility sanitation and infection-control requirements. Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment. Professional conduct while on client property. Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patient, employee, and facility information encountered while providing services. Ability to satisfy all required clinical facility screening and documentation requirements. Physical Requirements The work may require: Standing and walking for extended periods. Bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and repetitive cleaning motions. Pushing or pulling cleaning carts and equipment. Lifting and carrying cleaning supplies, trash bags, and equipment as required. Wearing appropriate PPE when required by the facility or nature of the cleaning task. Professional Expectations Contractors representing Coast Florida Cleaning Maintenance LLC must maintain a professional appearance and conduct themselves respectfully while on client property. All contractors are expected to follow applicable facility rules concerning safety, security, sanitation, infection control, confidentiality, and access to restricted areas.

$1,200.00 per month
