What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Start Here. Grow Here. Stay Here. Come and apply today! Check and clean facilities and exterior grounds, and pick up debris/litter from around buildings, parking lots, and dumpster areas. Sweep or blow off sidewalks/walkways around buildings. Empty exterior trash receptacles as needed. General cleaning of building interiors including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, emptying trash receptacles, and surface cleaning. Secondary restroom check/cleaning and ensure disposable supplies are adequately stocked. Perform building safety checks and report all unsafe conditions to the supervisor. Communicate with internal and external customers, Building Superintendents, and supervisors.
