Two different locations. Must have relia transportation. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Cleaner to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors alike. Your proactive approach to cleaning, combined with excellent time management skills, will help uphold our high standards of hygiene and presentation. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and surface sanitation across residential and commercial spaces. Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure health standards are met or exceeded. Conduct floor cleaning and floor care activities such as polishing, buffing, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces. Handle laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms as needed. Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas by sweeping walkways, trash removal, and outdoor surface cleaning. Manage janitorial supplies inventory, ensuring all cleaning equipment is maintained and properly stored. Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide exceptional customer service to foster positive relationships. Qualifications Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work or janitorial services is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. Physical capability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the shift. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration. Familiarity with cleaning detergents and chemicals used in sanitation procedures is a plus. Prior experience in housekeeping management or residential housekeeping is advantageous but not required.
