is looking for a dependable, hands-on Day Porter to help keep a commercial property clean, presentable, and operating smoothly throughout the day. This position combines general cleaning and property upkeep with basic handyman tasks. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and can handle day to day requests professionally. Responsibilities Maintain the cleanliness of restrooms, elevators, entrances, common areas, break areas, and exterior areas. Restock restroom supplies and monitor inventory levels. Respond promptly to spills, messes, and other cleaning needs throughout the property. Perform light handyman tasks, such as tightening loose hardware, making minor adjustments, and assisting with basic repairs. Report maintenance issues, damages, safety hazards, and items requiring professional repair. Assist with general property upkeep, special requests, and event setup or cleanup as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment for tenants, visitors, and building staff. Communicate issues and completed work to management. Follow established safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Perform other duties related to property upkeep as assigned. Qualifications Must be fluent in English and able to speak, read, and write English fluently. Previous experience in janitorial services, day porter work, general maintenance, or handyman work is preferred. Basic knowledge of common tools and minor repairs. Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently. Professional and courteous when interacting with tenants, visitors, and building management. Able to recognize safety concerns and report issues promptly. Able to perform the physical duties of the position, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving supplies as needed. Must successfully complete the required employment screening and be legally authorized to work in the United States. What We're Looking For We need someone who is a self-starter, pays attention to detail, and understands that the little things matter when maintaining commercial property. The ideal candidate is comfortable switching between cleaning duties, basic handyman work, and responding to building needs throughout the day. Reliability, a positive attitude, and good communication skills are essential.
