Maintenance / Porter Duties
Onsite Property Location :
Holiday Florida Temp- Temp to Perm $20.00 to $22.00 per Hour Immediate Need Position Tuesday
- Saturday 8am-4pm General Grounds & Common Areas Perform daily inspections of the property to identify maintenance and safety issuesKeep all common areas clean and free of debris (walkways, courtyards, entryways)Empty trash bins throughout the property and replace linersPick up litter and maintain cleanliness of parking lots and landscaped areasMaintain cleanliness of dumpsters and surrounding enclosuresPower wash sidewalks, breezeways, and building exteriors as neededBuilding & Property Maintenance Conduct routine inspections of buildings, lighting, and amenitiesReplace light bulbs and maintain lighting fixtures in common areasReport maintenance needs or hazards to the supervisor or property managerPerform minor repairs (door adjustments, hardware tightening, caulking)Assist vendors and contractors on property as neededMonitor and maintain community signage and bulletin boardsAmenity Upkeep Clean and maintain clubhouse, fitness center, business center, and restroomsMonitor pool area for cleanliness and safety (furniture arrangement, trash removal)Wipe down equipment, sweep floors, and sanitize high-touch surfacesEnsure pool gates and amenity doors are secured after useRestock restroom and amenity supplies as neededJanitorial Responsibilities Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain clean floors in common areasClean windows, glass doors, and entrywaysDust surfaces, fixtures, and community décorPerform spot cleaning as necessary throughout the daySafety & Compliance Identify and report hazardous conditions immediatelyPost safety signs (wet floor/caution) when applicableInspect fire extinguishers and emergency lighting (visual checks only)Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company policiesMaintain secure storage of tools and chemicalsResident & Team Support Greet residents and guests in a professional and courteous mannerRespond to maintenance-related requests on property when assignedSupport maintenance team with work orders and emergenciesCommunicate issues promptly to management for follow-upInventory & Equipment Maintain organization of maintenance shop and equipment storageTrack inventory of cleaning and maintenance suppliesRequest supply replenishment as neededProperly maintain tools and property-assigned equipment
