You will be responsible for performing thorough cleaning tasks, handling cleaning equipment, and adhering to safety protocols—all while working independently during night shifts. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas using various cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers Handle cleaning chemicals safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to ensure a secure environment Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies, trash removal, and equipment setup in accordance with safe lifting practices Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting high-touch areas and ensuring all spaces meet health and safety regulations Use custodial tools and commercial cleaning supplies efficiently to complete assigned tasks quickly and thoroughly Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as facility upkeep, light repairs, or painting as needed during night hours Follow all safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries while performing custodial duties Requirements Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred; familiarity with health or commercial cleaning is a plus Ability to handle chemical agents safely by following proper procedures for storage, mixing, and disposal Physical capability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged standing or walking during shifts Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards Good communication skills; ability to follow instructions clearly and work independently in a nighttime environment Prior experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is advantageous but not mandatory Join us as part of our Night Time Clean-Up Crew—where your dedication ensures our facilities shine bright after hours!
