A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

What You'll Be Doing Your primary responsibility will be commercial cleaning for offices and businesses.
Typical commercial cleaning tasks include:
Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms Emptying trash and replacing liners Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors Cleaning breakrooms and common areas Dusting and wiping surfaces Cleaning glass doors and removing fingerprints General office cleaning We're looking for someone who can work efficiently, and make sure the facility is clean and ready for the next business day. Residential Cleaning In addition to your regular commercial cleaning schedule, you may also be offered residential house cleaning on a standby/as-needed basis.
This may include:
Filling in when one of our regular residential cleaners is unavailable Helping with additional residential jobs when needed Residential cleaning requests that come in on weekends Opportunities to pick up additional hours outside of your regular commercial schedule Residential cleaning may include cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas, along with dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and general home cleaning. The work is active and physical , but it's a great fit for someone who enjoys staying busy and seeing the results of their work.
