A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Be available to work the following... Monday through Friday 6:30pm start time Job-Specific Duties This position is responsible for performing routine interior cleaning and general janitorial duties while maintaining Signature Janitorial Services' standards for cleanliness and presentation.
Primary responsibilities include:
Emptying trash and replacing liners Cleaning restrooms Cleaning interior windows and glass surfaces Vacuuming carpets Mopping hard-surface floors Dusting and wiping down surfaces Performing other miscellaneous or assigned cleaning duties Position Requirements Reliability is essential. Candidates must have dependable personal transportation to and from each assigned job location. Must be able to work effectively as part of a team , take responsibility for assigned duties, and be open to constructive feedback and coaching. 1+ year of professional cleaning experience is preferred. Must have a smartphone for scheduling, communication, and work-related applications.
Must be available to work:
Monday through Friday starting at 6:30pm Must be able to perform the essential physical duties of the position, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting or carrying up to 20 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
Starting pay:
$16-$17.50 per hour , based on experience and qualifications. Position will initially be part-time , with the potential to grow into a full-time position in the near future for employees who are interested and demonstrate strong performance. Employees are paid bi-weekly via direct deposit. English or Spanish speakers are welcome. Bilingual candidates are a plus.
