Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to join our facilities maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our commercial and residential properties. Your energetic approach to cleaning and upkeep will ensure that our spaces are hygienic, well-organized, and visually appealing for staff, clients, and visitors alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a professional setting where cleanliness directly impacts overall operations and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces Handle custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and sanitizing high-touch areas Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, light painting, and equipment upkeep when needed Operate industrial cleaning tools for deep cleaning projects or specialized floor care procedures Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored in compliance with safety standards Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents during cleaning operations Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings preferred Knowledge of various cleaning techniques including floor buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing Experience with industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers or extractors is a plus Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or painting is advantageous Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety guidelines throughout all tasks Join us in creating clean, safe environments that leave a positive impression!
