In this vital role, you will ensure that all areas are sanitized, well-kept, and meet safety standards to provide a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and clients. Your proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance will contribute significantly to the smooth operation of our organization and uphold our commitment to a clean and safe workspace. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures and safety protocol adherence. Assist with custodial responsibilities such as restocking supplies and maintaining cleaning tools and equipment in good condition. Follow heavy lifting and manual handling safety practices when moving furniture or cleaning supplies to prevent injuries. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and proper use of cleaning equipment. Ability to handle chemical agents safely with an understanding of chemical handling safety procedures.. Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety protocol adherence. Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed. Prior experience with cleaning tools. Must have relible transportation.
