Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across various areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies. Handle chemical cleaning agents safely, following all safety protocols and using personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent accidents or contamination. Conduct specialized cleaning tasks such as pressure washing exterior surfaces, window cleaning, and floor care to maintain high standards of sanitation and appearance. Manage laundry services as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms. Maintain cleanliness of cleaning tools and equipment through proper storage, sanitation, and routine maintenance. Follow infection control procedures diligently to ensure a hygienic environment that minimizes health risks. Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely during the movement of supplies or furniture while adhering to manual handling guidelines. Experience Prior custodial or janitorial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate eager to learn. Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices including sanitation standards and infection control protocols is advantageous. Experience handling cleaning chemicals safely and effectively is desirable. Demonstrated ability to perform manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy objects with proper technique.
