Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using commercial cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and vacuums. Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to ensure a secure environment. Conduct custodial tasks including dusting, trash removal, window cleaning, and sanitation of high-touch surfaces. Use manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or large cleaning supplies while following safe lifting practices. Maintain the cleanliness of floors through buffing and floor care techniques to ensure a polished appearance. Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks when needed, including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to maintenance teams. Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health standards. Qualifications Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred; familiarity with commercial or industrial cleaning environments is a plus. Knowledge of cleaning equipment operation including floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools. Ability to handle chemical agents safely by following proper safety procedures and handling instructions. Physical ability to perform manual tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
