Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and results‑driven Night Shift Supervisor to support our janitorial operations under the FLETC contract. This is a hands‑on leadership role working from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The ideal candidate will be confident taking charge, holding employees accountable, and ensuring all work is completed correctly, efficiently, and on schedule. We are looking for a supervisor who means business someone who sets clear expectations, leads by example, addresses issues promptly, and maintains a professional and productive work environment. The successful candidate must be a strong communicator who can work effectively with employees, management, and the customer. Key Responsibilities Provide daily leadership and supervision for assigned employees and work areas. Develop and maintain employee schedules to ensure proper staffing and contract coverage. Coordinate daily assignments and adjust staffing based on operational needs. Train new and current employees on job duties, procedures, safety requirements, and contract standards. Conduct regular quality‑control inspections to ensure work meets company and contract expectations. Identify deficiencies and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly. Document training, inspections, performance, scheduling, and other required operational information. Hold employees accountable for attendance, productivity, quality, and conduct. Communicate expectations clearly and professionally. Collaborate with supervisors, management, and team members to meet contract requirements. Address daily operational issues and escalate major concerns when needed. Maintain accurate records and prepare required reports. Assist management in improving efficiency, quality, accountability, and overall performance. Required Qualifications Must be available to work the 3:00 PM-12:00 AM shift. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Strong leadership and supervisory abilities. Extensive floor‑care experience with solid knowledge of maintenance and restoration for various surfaces. Ability to train, coach, and develop employees. Experience creating and coordinating staff schedules. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform effective quality‑control inspections. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time‑management abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to address performance or conduct issues professionally and directly. Dependable, punctual, professional, and accountable. Able to work as part of a team while also taking ownership of assigned responsibilities.
