Hood Cleaning Technician Grease Ducks Clean College Park, GA Job Details Contract $60 a day 22 hours ago Benefits On-the-job training Qualifications Ladder use Driver's License Attention to detail HVAC Construction experience Manual handling Full Job Description Grease Ducks Clean — Field Technician Position Overview Grease Ducks Clean is looking for dependable, hardworking Field Technicians to perform commercial kitchen hood and exhaust-system cleaning services. This is a very part-time, per-job position. Most work is performed overnight, after restaurants close, so applicants must be comfortable working late-night/early-morning hours. Field Technicians will work in commercial kitchens and will be responsible for helping clean and maintain kitchen exhaust systems, including hood systems, ductwork, exhaust fans, filters, and surrounding areas as assigned. This position requires someone who is reliable, physically capable, comfortable getting dirty, able to work independently and as part of a team, and willing to work overnight hours. Compensation & Employment Structure Starting pay: $60 per completed job Canceled jobs: $20 Pay is issued every two weeks Payment is made by direct deposit Position is classified as 1099 independent contractor work, not traditional W-2 employment Work is very part-time and the number of available jobs may vary from week to week There is no guarantee of a specific number of jobs or hours each week Most jobs are performed overnight, typically after the restaurant has closed Typical Job Responsibilities Field Technicians may be responsible for: Arriving at the job site on time and prepared to work Following instructions from the Field Manager or assigned lead technician Cleaning commercial kitchen exhaust hood systems Cleaning hood filters and accessible exhaust components Cleaning grease buildup from applicable surfaces Using degreasers, pressure-washing equipment, scrapers, brushes, towels, and other cleaning equipment Working around grease, dirt, food residue, smoke residue, and other kitchen contaminants Setting up and properly using protective coverings to prevent damage to the customer's property Using ladders and working at elevated heights when necessary Following proper safety procedures and PPE requirements Taking required before, during, and after-service photographs Keeping the work area clean and organized Properly cleaning up equipment and work areas before leaving Reporting any damage, unsafe conditions, missing equipment, or issues discovered at the job site Following company procedures and customer-specific instructions Maintaining professional behavior while representing Grease Ducks Clean Physical & Environmental Requirements Applicants must understand that this is hands-on commercial cleaning work, not an office or light-cleaning position.
You may be required to:
Work on your feet for extended periods Bend, kneel, reach, climb, lift, carry, push, and pull equipment Work on ladders Work in tight or uncomfortable areas Handle greasy, dirty, wet, and heavily soiled equipment Work around strong cleaning chemicals and degreasers while following proper safety procedures Work in hot commercial kitchens Work outdoors or around exterior exhaust fans when required Work during overnight hours when most people are asleep Perform repetitive cleaning tasks until the job is completed Applicants should be comfortable working in an environment where getting dirty is part of the job.

$60.00 per day
