About the
Role:
The EVS Worker 214 plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within healthcare facilities. This position is essential for supporting the overall health and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors by ensuring that all areas are sanitized and free from hazards. The EVS Worker will be responsible for adhering to strict infection control protocols and using appropriate cleaning techniques to prevent the spread of illness. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure that the facility meets regulatory standards for cleanliness and safety. Ultimately, the EVS Worker contributes significantly to the quality of care provided in the healthcare setting.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a cleaning or custodial role, preferably in a healthcare setting. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in infection control or environmental services. Experience with specialized cleaning equipment and techniques. Basic understanding of healthcare regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, common areas, and restrooms. Follow established protocols for infection control and waste disposal.
