A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Summary of essential job functions:
The janitorial employee is responsible for cleaning the facilities throughout the shift. Duties include but, are not limited to: 1) Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming, parking lot cleanup 2) Gather and empty trash. 3) Clean and supply restrooms. Communicate to lead or supervisor any issues immediately 4) Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. 5) Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. 6) Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment. 7) Steam-clean or shampoo carpets. 8) Wipe down all touchable items in each production room which include, assembly lines, ladders, pallet jacks handles, door knobs and any other assigned task. .Essential and Physical requirements:
Ability to stand up to 10+ hours a day. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds in a safe manner. Ability to work first or second shift, occasional weekends and Holidays Ability to work indoors with varying temperature changes. Ability to use the floor buffer equipmentPay:
