A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Evening Church Cleaner Perimeter Church - 4.4 Johns Creek, GA Job Details Part-time $14 - $15 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Moving Attention to detail Waste collection Full Job Description Perimeter Church Church Housekeeper Position Description $14/$15hr /Description / General Responsibilities The part-time Church Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning the entire facility including, but not limited to: classroom setups, general meeting setups, bathrooms, and special project/detail cleaning. 25 Hours per week Using provided cleaning equipment and cleaning materials safely and effectively. Moving and relocating tables, chairs, cabinets, and stacks of chairs as required to complete set-ups of weddings, conferences, etc. Collect all trash and recyclables and place in compactor. Ability to clean all bathroom surface areas including tall mirrors, walls, urinals, commodes and stalls Cross trainable to perform all cleaning staff duties necessary to support church functions as required Skills and Abilities Needed Can work independently without direct supervision Good interpersonal skills / task oriented / excellent work ethic / follows direction / strong teamwork / attention to detail / dependable Physical requirements include ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, significant bending and stooping to clean. Ability to lift up to 25-40 lbs. for moving of supplies and equipment. Reports Reports directly to the Facilities Cleaning Supervisor Works with 25 to 30 team members Will work weekends Interaction with various staff members, church members, visitors, and students.
