Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Commercial Cleaning Technician to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of commercial interiors, including offices, restrooms, lobbies, hallways, and other designated areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies Handle chemical agents safely, following all safety procedures for storage, mixing, and disposal to ensure a hazard-free environment Operate floor buffers, polishers, and other custodial equipment to maintain floors in pristine condition through buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing techniques Conduct sanitation tasks such as trash removal, dusting surfaces, disinfecting high-touch areas, and ensuring compliance with health standards Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs, light painting projects, and general upkeep to support overall building operations Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy cleaning equipment or bulk supplies to prevent injury Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues promptly Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial or industrial setting or willingness to learn!
