Kennel Technician

We are looking for a friendly, upbeat assistant to care for our pet guests in the resort area of our animal hospital. The responsibilities include feeding, watering, cleaning, walking, bathing, and monitoring the well-being of our guests. Because we take great pride in providing a safe and clinical environment, this role also includes vital housekeeping and janitorial duties to keep our entire hospital sparkling. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, including sweeping, mopping, laundry, and general sanitizing of all hospital areas. A desire to provide gentle, compassionate care for our boarded and hospitalized pets is a must. Excellent customer service and communication skills are needed when giving resort tours or greeting clients. Previous experience in the veterinary or resort field is a plus, however, this is an entry level position that is a great option if you are considering entering the veterinary field. You must be able to work independently once trained and be available to rotate weekends and holidays.

Pay:

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
