Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Midwest Janitorial Service is seeking dependable, motivated individuals who want to grow into leadership and management roles. Many of our supervisors and managers started in this position. If you are reliable, hardworking, and interested in advancement opportunities, this could be the right opportunity for you. This position typically begins with second shift hours starting after 5:00 PM. Total hours generally range from 20-25 hours per week depending on workload and coverage needs.

Bonus:
Additional $2.00/hour Performance & Attendance Bonus available Advancement Opportunities This position is designed as a leadership development role . Employees in this position gain experience in: Training new employees Performing quality inspections Supervising cleaning crews Handling service requests and problem solving Successful employees in this role are often promoted to Operations positions . Key Responsibilities Fill in at unstaffed or priority accounts Assist with special projects Assist in training new team members Assist with last-minute client requests and service needs What We're Looking For Highly reliable with excellent attendance Strong attention to detail and quality standards Comfortable leading small teams and working independently Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable transportation to and from the branch Strong customer service and communication skills Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Prior cleaning or maintenance experience is a plus (but we will train) Ability to lift 20-30 lbs., bend, squat, and stand for the entire shift Must pass a background check Must follow all safety guidelines and policies Join a company whose mission is Protecting Health Through Clean and build a career with opportunities for advancement and leadership.
