Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks across commercial facilities, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Conduct specialized floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to keep floors looking their best. Handle custodial responsibilities with precision, including restocking supplies and ensuring restrooms are hygienic and well-maintained. Execute industrial cleaning and facilities maintenance tasks to support the safety and functionality of the environment. Assist with residential painting projects when needed, applying paint accurately to enhance space aesthetics. Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. Support porter duties such as moving supplies or furniture and maintaining common areas in top condition. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, buffing, and facilities maintenance. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and safety standards. Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness standards. Basic understanding of residential painting techniques is a plus but not required.
