Job Description

Reports to: Shop Foreman /
Management Team Pay:
$15/hr
JOB SUMMARY
Looking for temporary part-time summer help to do some cleaning and organization projects. Schedule is flexible - looking for about 20 hours per week for the summer. Ledford has two locations so applicants will need to be able to report to either location on a given day and possibly move between them during the day. Looking for a punctual, self-starter who can come in ready to work. Applicants should be comfortable in a manufacturing and machine shop environment and should be comfortable being on their feet for most of the day.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Critical Responsibilities - 1) General Cleaning a. Sweep & Mop Floors b. Wipe down equipment c. Change filters 2) Organize areas of the shop as designated a. Organize steel blocks and sheet metal parts with proper PPE b. Sort, organize or discard papers Other Duties as needed - 1) Other tasks as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
A Custodian / Organizer must be able to: 1) Speak, read & write English fluently 2) Work on their feet for an 8 hour shift (excluding breaks) 3) Lift 25 lbs unassisted 4) Remain comfortable working in an industrial environment 5) Work independently and efficiently once individual tasks are assigned 6) Must be 16+ years of age
