A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
PAWS Humane Society in Charles City is looking for 2 or 3 weekend morning dog/cat cleaners. Will be responsible for cleaning cat and/or dog cages, feeding, scooping litter, sweeping, mopping, doing laundry, giving meds & keeping an eye on the health of our animals. Duties are physically demanding (lifting, bending, handling strong dogs). Weekend cleaner (Sat. & Sun. AM) will work approx. 4-6 hours per week and will be required to work at least 1-2 weekends per month depending on schedules. Must be 16 or older and responsible to work on your own and communicate via text message weekly.
