Full Job Description Now Hiring:

1st Shift Cleaners Midwest Janitorial Service is seeking a dependable and self-motivated individual to join our team as a full-time 1st shift cleaner. Position 1: (Coralville) Tuesday - Saturday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. This position involves emptying trash up to 30-40lbs and cleaning restrooms/break areas. Wage is $19.00 ($17.00 plus $2.00 PA Bonus) Saturday has an additional $1/hr differential.

Position Requirements:

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, arrives on time, and stays focused throughout the entire shift. Excellent customer service is essential, as duties are performed around clients during business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

General cleaning and disinfecting Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming Use automatic floor scrubber Emptying lab trash weighing 40-50lbs Dusting and trash removal Maintaining safety and cleanliness in shared spaces

Physical Requirements:

Ability to bend, twist, squat, and stand for the full shift Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs frequently Reliable transportation to and from the job site Must pass a background check Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Strong attention to detail High level of professionalism Dependable and self-motivated Ability to work independently and stay on task

This position is for 1st and requires a Tuesday - Saturday schedule starting at 7:00 am. Are you able to reliably work this schedule? Two days per week, this position is primarily emptying lab trash and requires the ability to lift 40-50lbs frequently. This position requires constant walking, and 10k steps during a shift is common. Are you able and willing to do this throughout the full shift?
