A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Cleaner; Full Time; Saturday-Wednesday 5:00 AM-1:00 PM; $14.50/Hour Duties, Functions and Responsibilities Responsible for cleaning an assigned area: dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, spot cleaning, emptying wastebaskets and mopping floors, snow removal and other duties as assigned. Complete cleaning tasks using appropriate methods, equipment and chemicals. Attendance and Punctuality are essential functions of the position.
