A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
SCHEDULE
0600-1430 $1,000 Sign On BonusJOB SUMMARY
Cleans and services building areas according to established procedures. Moves furniture, equipment and supplies in and around the facility. Performs a variety of environmental services duties to maintain the facility in a neat, orderly and sanitary condition. Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:- Some related experience preferred.
- Must possess a valid Iowa driver's license and meet satisfactory motor vehicle record requirements, if applicable.
- Must maintain and provide proof of his/her own auto insurance policy, if applicable.
- Must have knowledge of or ability to learn cleaning techniques and infection control practices.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to operate equipment.
- Ability to learn with moderate direction.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work at a steady and quick pace.
