Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, windows, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Maintain high standards of cleanliness in both commercial and residential settings by dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces Handle specialized floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to keep flooring looking pristine Assist with custodial responsibilities including waste removal, restocking supplies, and minor maintenance tasks Support facilities maintenance by identifying and reporting repairs needed for equipment or infrastructure Conduct industrial cleaning duties in warehouses or manufacturing areas to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met Provide porter services such as moving furniture or equipment as needed to facilitate cleaning or maintenance activities Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial duties, or facilities maintenance is highly desirable Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers or industrial vacuums safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards in various environments Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the day Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting maintenance issues promptly Embark on a fulfilling career where your efforts directly enhance the environment for employees and visitors alike.
