Job Overview:

As a Janitor at Del Medical, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and contributes to creating a welcoming and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Hours are 11am to 7:30pm = Full Time or 3:30pm to 7:30pm = Part Time

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and other common areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning activities.
• Follow waste management procedures and disposal regulations.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Efficiently prioritize and complete cleaning tasks according to established schedules.
• Respond promptly to ad-hoc cleaning requests and emergencies.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive and well-maintained workplace.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
• Create a positive and clean environment for employees, visitors, and clients.
• Respond professionally to any cleaning-related inquiries or feedback.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Basic knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety practices. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness. Effective communication skills.
