Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and cleaning equipment to ensure surfaces are hygienic and well-maintained. Manage laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency. Care for floors through detailed floor cleaning techniques, including carpet cleaning, floor care, and outdoor work when necessary. Handle heavy lifting safely during the moving or repositioning of furniture and cleaning supplies, following manual handling protocols. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs, provide updates on service completion, and ensure satisfaction with the housekeeping services provided. Maintain organized cleaning supplies inventory, operate janitorial equipment properly, and adhere to all safety protocols related to custodial work. Qualifications Proven experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles with a strong understanding of janitorial procedures. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floors, carpets, and outdoor areas using appropriate techniques and equipment. Familiarity with cleaning detergents, sanitation standards, and safety regulations related to manual handling and heavy lifting. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple client homes. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Ability to perform physical tasks that involve standing for long periods, bending, lifting heavy objects safely, and outdoor work when required.
