School Custodian

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Evening/Night Custodian to join our facilities team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our employees, students, and visitors. This is an entry-level position, and we encourage applicants with a passion for cleaning and hard working to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of facilities, including classrooms, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Use specialized equipment, such as industrial cleaning machines, to clean high-traffic areas and heavy-duty floors.
• Utilize buffing and polishing techniques to maintain the appearance of floors.
• Ensure all facilities are clean and tidy, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness.
• Restock supplies and materials, and maintain inventory.
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient and effective cleaning.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks, including painting and repairing facilities.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
