Part Time Late Evening Cleaner Champaign, IL 61820 From $15 an hour - Part-time From $15 an hour - Part-time We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including commercial spaces. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, good attendance and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Ensure all areas are sanitized and maintained according to established standards. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient cleaning operations and high-quality service delivery. Qualifications Must be available to work part-time evening shifts, including weekends. Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is a plus. Knowledge of industrial cleaning standards and safety practices is beneficial. Porter experience is an advantage for maintaining cleanliness in high-traffic areas. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Perform heavy-duty cleaning services upon request and complete assigned weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning tasks.
