Overview We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and organized Head Porter / Lead Porter to help oversee our dealership lot and porter team. This is a hands-on leadership position. The ideal candidate is someone who takes ownership, works with urgency, and can make sure our inventory and lot are organized and ready for business every day. Responsibilities Lead and help manage the dealership's porter team Assign daily responsibilities and ensure tasks are completed Maintain an organized, clean, and professional dealership lot Organize vehicles by designated areas, makes/models, and dealership needs Move vehicles throughout the dealership as needed Ensure vehicles are ready for customer appointments and test drives Keep retail inventory clean, fueled, and presentable Coordinate vehicles going to and from service, detail, body shop, and photography Help receive vehicles delivered from auctions, transporters, trades, and dealer transfers Inspect incoming vehicles for visible damage and immediately report concerns Assist with vehicle key organization and control Perform regular lot walks and inventory checks Jump-start vehicles and handle other basic vehicle-related needs Keep entrances, customer areas, and vehicle display areas clean and professional Help maintain dealership cleanliness during rain, snow, and other weather conditions Communicate inventory or lot issues to management Train new porters on dealership expectations and procedures Hold the porter team accountable for cleanliness, organization, and productivity Qualifications Previous dealership porter or automotive experience preferred Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Reliable transportation Strong attendance and punctuality Ability to safely operate different types of vehicles Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must be dependable and willing to lead by example Join us as a Lead Porter to play a crucial role in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments while leading a dedicated team committed to excellence!

Pay:

$40,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
