Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

Job Location:

Du Quoin, IL We are seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Commercial Custodian to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to details, and can work independently with minimal supervision. Would make a great second job or supplemental income to a retired person.

Schedule:

Part-Time, approx. 9 hours per week 3 evenings per week, after 5pm, NO weekend Paid holidays, additional hours may become available if wanted.

Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain a commercial building to a high standers Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize designated areas Empty trash and replace liners Clean and restock restrooms Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines

Qualification :

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy Strong attention to detail Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and walking throughout the shift Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required We are looking for someone who values quality workmanship and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe and professional environment.
