Conduct detailed floor care activities such as floor buffing, waxing, polishing, and refinishing to keep floors looking their best. Use manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks related to janitorial supplies, equipment, or furniture while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness of all areas by vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and performing detailed cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas. Operate cleaning machinery including floor buffers, polishers, and carpet extractors with skill and safety awareness. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests or concerns related to cleanliness or facility maintenance. Requirements Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is highly desirable. Knowledge of various cleaning techniques including floor scrubbing, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning. Ability to handle chemical agents safely and effectively while following health and safety guidelines. Physical capability for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during shifts. Familiarity with cleaning equipment like floor buffers, polishers, vacuum cleaners, and carpet extractors. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on environmental safety practices during cleaning procedures.
