Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items for clients. Clean kitchen areas thoroughly, including appliances, countertops, sinks, and cabinets; assist with basic cooking tasks if required. Maintain the cleanliness of outdoor areas when necessary by sweeping patios or walkways. Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including carpet cleaners, floor buffers, vacuum cleaners, and janitorial tools. Manage time efficiently to complete scheduled tasks within designated periods while maintaining quality standards. Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service. Follow all safety protocols related to manual handling of heavy items or equipment to prevent injuries. Ensure proper disposal of waste and use cleaning supplies responsibly to promote environmental sustainability. Experience Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures. Familiarity with cleaning surfaces such as floors, carpets, countertops, and appliances using appropriate techniques. Experience with laundry services including washing machines, dryers, and stain removal methods. Knowledge of janitorial or custodial practices in residential or commercial settings is preferred. Ability to handle cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to sanitation standards. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple homes. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration. Physical capability for manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy furniture or moving supplies; outdoor work experience is a plus.
