A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Provide a quality and timely cleaning service for customers. Follow safety rules and precautions with regard to handling, operation, and storage of equipment and supplies. Complete job requirements in a safe manner for well-being of self, co-workers, and others not employed in the Janitorial Business who are in the areas being cleaned. Assist with the transport of equipment and supplies, minor repairs of equipment as needed and cleaning of equipment. Represent Bridgeway in a positive, professional manner and maintain the rights of confidentiality of coworkers. High school Diploma or GED preferred, no prior experience or training required.
