What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
About the Role The Porter/Shop Assistant is a versatile, hands-on team member responsible for supporting daily operations throughout the collision repair center. This hybrid role adapts to the changing needs of the business and may assist multiple departments, including production, parts, customer service, detailing, and facility maintenance. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, organized, and willing to perform a variety of tasks to help ensure efficient shop operations and an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities Shop & Facility Support Maintain safe, clean and organized work areas Keep office areas and bathrooms clean and presentable Sweep, mop and remove trash from work and common areas Monitor and restock shop supplies Wash, vacuum, and prepare vehicles for customer pickup Support equipment maintenance and basic facility repairs Driving & Transportation Pick up and deliver parts from vendors Transport customers as needed Deliver completed vehicles to customers Run company errands and support operational needs Maintain a clean driving record and operate company vehicles safely Role Characteristics & Qualifications Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to drive manual transmission is preferred but not required Strong attention to detail Ambitious and motivated to grow with the business Reliable, punctual and team-oriented Commitment to safety and quality Previous dealership, collision repair, or porter experience is preferred but not required Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to safely operate motor vehicles for extended periods when necessary Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to perform physical tasks throughout the workday: frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Superior Collision Custom is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
