Overview Join our dynamic facilities team as a Janitor and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our commercial and residential spaces. As a Janitor, you will be the backbone of our facility operations, ensuring every corner reflects our commitment to cleanliness and professionalism. Your proactive approach will help create an inviting atmosphere for employees, clients, and visitors alike. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and techniques such as buffing and industrial cleaning methods Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, and fixtures to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance Conduct routine custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces Assist with floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to ensure surfaces remain pristine Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for plumbing, lighting, or structural issues Execute specialized cleaning procedures for industrial or commercial spaces to meet safety regulations Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage of custodial equipment Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, stripping, waxing, and industrial cleaning methods Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers and floor polishers safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift Basic understanding of facilities maintenance procedures is a plus Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication transforms spaces into spotless environments!
