!! Job Summary This position will use a variety of chemicals and sanitation equipment to clean and sanitize food processing equipment. Essential Functions

• Remove all debris from machinery, floors, and contact points prior to cleaning.
• Pre-rinse machinery and contact surfaces.
• Foam scrub and rinse the entire processing room (i.e. walls, floors, food contact surfaces, equipment) prior to sanitizing.
• Make sure all electrical equipment is bagged prior to liquid use. Ensure aisle ways and raw material storage area are swept and trash cans dumped.
• Handle chemicals used in the process of cleaning and sanitation by following safety procedures.
• Maintain and proper use of equipment.
• Observe and follow GMPs, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs)
• Complete all daily paperwork required.
• Perform other duties as assigned. Skills & Qualifications
• At least 25 years of age or older
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Detail-oriented.
• Able to follow verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work as a team player and ability to work independently.
• Time management skills. Education & Experience
• Prior food plant sanitation experience is preferred, but not required.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent years of experience preferred but not required.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm. May be required to work occasional weekends as needed. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 40 pounds and frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Must be able to operate and use all necessary equipment. Ability to work outside and inside in all weather conditions including seasonally hot or cold temperatures.
