Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies. Conduct routine janitorial duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces. Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass doors, and fixtures to ensure a polished appearance. Execute specialized floor care tasks including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing to preserve flooring quality. Support industrial or commercial cleaning projects by handling large-scale cleaning tasks efficiently and safely. Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or minor repairs when needed. Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment. Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of custodial procedures. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing. Familiarity with commercial cleaning standards and industrial cleaning practices. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, extractors, and floor scrubbers confidently. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining cleanliness standards consistently. Good physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
