Full Job Description Shift :

Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and custodial tools. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures to ensure effective sanitation without risk to health. Conduct manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices to prevent injury. Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting surfaces, trash removal, and restocking supplies as needed. Operate cleaning machinery including floor buffers and other custodial equipment to achieve optimal floor care and buffing results. Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to ensure a secure environment for yourself and others. Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting issues requiring professional attention. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning procedures. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools. Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures and sanitation standards. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while following safe lifting practices. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Strong time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts.
