A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

Mike Haggerty Buick GMC is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Automotive Porter to join our team. The Porter plays an important role in keeping our dealership organized, our vehicles clean and properly positioned, and our Sales and Service Departments running efficiently. Responsibilities Move and park new, used, and customer vehicles as needed Prepare vehicles for customer test drives and deliveries Keep the dealership lot, showroom, and surrounding areas clean and organized Assist the Sales and Service Departments with daily vehicle movement and other tasks Maintain the appearance of vehicles on the lot Fuel vehicles and check basic fluid levels as needed Assist with vehicle deliveries and customer needs Pick up and deliver vehicles between dealership locations or other destinations when needed Assist with snow removal and other weather-related cleanup Follow all dealership safety procedures and immediately report any vehicle damage or accidents Perform other duties as assigned by management Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable, punctual, and dependable Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to work in all weather conditions Previous dealership or automotive experience is a plus, but not required What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working around vehicles, follows directions, and is willing to help wherever needed.
