Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to ensure a pristine environment. Conduct floor care procedures such as buffing, polishing, and maintaining various flooring surfaces to enhance appearance and safety. Maintain cleanliness of common areas, lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and parking lots throughout the day. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing supplies, and minor repairs to support facility operations. Monitor facility conditions regularly, report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management. Support special cleaning projects including industrial cleaning or deep cleans as scheduled or needed. Uphold safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment for staff and visitors. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is preferred. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus. Reliable team player with a positive attitude committed to high standards of cleanliness and safety.
