We are a 24/7 program that serves people in need of a safe place to stay. We provide shelter, meals, showers, laundry, case management, as well as educational and employment classes to all who enter our doors. We are currently hiring an Operations Coordinator to work 21 hours each week: Mondays 2:30p-10:30p Saturdays 6:30a-2:30p Sundays 9a-2p Flexibility to pick up open shifts is appreciated. Eligible for PTO benefits and Holiday Pay.
General responsibilities are:
- Ensure safety and support of our guests & volunteers, showing empathy & compassion.
- Assist guests in acclimating to and following house guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries with guests.
- Help maintain the daily routine of the shelter including meal prep, answering phones, etc.
- Maintain a clean environment.
- Foster rapport with donors & volunteers.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, squat, kneel, climb and lift up to 25 lbs.
