Saint Charles, IL 60174 What You'll Be Doing We're hiring immediately for a Janitor role in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas, of the building. Performs minor repairs and maintenance such as replacing light fixtures or unclogging pipes. Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms - toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors and partition walls Wipe tables, chairs and arm wrests Mop and vacuum floors with blower to dry surfaces Replace hand soap, hand sanitizer, toilet seat covers, toilet paper, hand towels, sanitary napkin bags, trash bins and can liners. Remove all items and dispose from all refrigerators, Wipe down inside of all refrigerators. Refill all brown paper towel dispenses, trifold napkins as needed. Switch out all recycling containers with new totes or gaylord Maintains a neat and orderly janitors' room; ensures cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked. Assists in examining premises for safety hazards; reports deficiencies to maintenance department. Performs other related duties as assigned. More duties may be assigned upon hire. What You'll Need Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions. Detail-oriented and thorough. Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance. Ability to keep the premises clean and orderly in a timely manor. Prolonged periods standing and walking Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time. Will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, cafeterias and reception along with all high-traffic areas.
