Maintenance / Custodian All-Rite Spring Company - Spring Grove, IL For over 70 years, All-Rite Spring Company has specialized in the design, prototype, and manufacture of custom springs for the automotive and industrial markets. Operating from our modern manufacturing facilities in Spring Grove, we produce over 250 million parts annually and continue to grow. We are looking for a dependable, self-motivated Maintenance/Custodian to help keep our facilities clean, safe, and operating efficiently. Position Summary The Maintenance/Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our office, production, shipping, and common areas while performing routine building maintenance and groundskeeping. This position plays an important role in providing a safe, organized, and professional work environment. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize restrooms throughout multiple facilities. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain office, production, shipping, and common areas. Empty trash and recycling containers. Clean lunchrooms, kitchens, refrigerators, microwaves, tables, vending areas, and break rooms. Dust offices, furniture, cabinets, window ledges, railings, and other common surfaces. Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, and other cleaning equipment. Wash windows and spot clean carpets as needed. Maintain janitorial closets, equipment, and supply inventory. Perform minor building maintenance and repairs including painting, changing light bulbs, replacing filters, and other general maintenance tasks. Keep sidewalks, entrances, parking lots, and outdoor areas clean and safe. Remove snow and apply salt during winter weather. Assist with facility projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous janitorial, custodial, facility maintenance or housekeeping experience preferred. Basic knowledge of building maintenance and repair. Ability to work independently and prioritize daily tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Comfortable using cleaning chemicals and powered cleaning equipment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, reach, lift, and push up to 50 lbs. Valid driver's license preferred. Schedule 1st
