Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Custodian/Janitorial professional to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies. Handle chemical agents safely, following all safety protocols for storage, usage, and disposal to ensure a secure environment. Operate vacuums, and other custodial equipment efficiently to maintain optimal floor care and appearance. Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces, trash removal, and ensuring restrooms are stocked with necessary supplies. Follow established safety procedures during all custodial activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Skills Proven experience in commercial or residential cleaning and janitorial roles with a strong understanding of custodial procedures. Skilled in handling chemical agents safely and adhering to chemical handling safety procedures. Ability to operate cleaning equipment including floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools effectively. Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining hygienic environments. Physical strength and stamina for manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards staff and visitors. Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus.
