In this role, you will perform routine cleaning tasks, maintain sanitation standards, and ensure a clean and orderly environment for employees and visitors. Key Responsibilities Clean and maintain offices, lobbies, cafeterias, locker rooms, production areas, and restrooms daily, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal. Sanitize and restock restrooms, kitchens, cafeterias, and locker rooms with supplies such as soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, and sanitary products. Clean windows, walls, office equipment, and other surfaces to remove fingerprints, smudges, and debris. Maintain break rooms and kitchen areas by cleaning tables, counters, microwaves, appliances, and floors, while ensuring supplies are fully stocked. Empty outdoor trash receptacles, keep walkways clear, and remove debris from facility grounds, including seasonal snow and ice removal when needed. Conduct routine inspections of the facility throughout the day to identify cleanliness issues, low supplies, property damage, or safety concerns, and report findings to management promptly. Assist with monitoring and replenishing custodial and housekeeping supplies under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor. Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Support additional housekeeping, cleaning, and facility-related duties as assigned. Perform other duties as required to support facility operations. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 3 years of custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping experience preferred. Strong work ethic with a willingness to perform hands-on physical work. Mechanical aptitude or basic mechanical knowledge preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently and up to 100 lbs. with assistance. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Flexibility to work overtime and varying shifts as needed. PTO in accordance with the IL Day and Temporary Labor Service Act.
