A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Cleaning help needed at a two story property located off of Napannee St. In Elkhart, IN. There are two bathrooms on main level, and two on second level that need to be cleaned, as well as maintenance cleaning in common areas, trash removal, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping. Total time for cleaning takes about 1-1.5 hours to clean depending on how efficiently you move and clean. Cleaning needs to be done 2-3 times a week depending on your availability. The days can be of your choosing and whatever fits your schedule. (mon/wed/fri or tues/thurs/weekend day) If you do not have reliable transportation or are going to use your kids as an excuse as to why you cant make it to work all the time, this role is NOT for you, respectfully. •must be able to carry at least 15 lbs up one flight of stairs • must be able to walk up stairs Prior cleaning experience or a willingness to learn and do a good job, is a must.
